Muslim Writers Publishing, located in Tempe, Arizona, is a pioneer in the field of publishing and promoting English language Islamic Fiction. 

Publisher Linda Delgado saw a gaping hole in the book market – English speaking Muslims were forced to read and give their children books with haram content or themes just have access to literature.  Fiction written specifically for and about Muslims was virtually absent from bookstore and library shelves.  So she dedicated herself to fulfilling this need.

Since then, MWP has published scores of books – from children’s activity books to young adult literaure to science fiction to family sagas.  These are not the boring, ”perfect” characters that dominated Islamic reading early in the English language field.  MWP’s heros and heroines are realistic, multi-faceted Muslims who face real quandries and struggle to remain true to their faith throughout whatever trials they face.  They are the kind of characters who speak to the hearts of readers and inspire pride in Islamic identity.
